"Drafts to fill the emptiness" embarks on an existential quest to redefine emptiness as a realm of endless possibilities.
Drafts to fill the emptiness aims to redefine the notion of emptiness not as an eternal state of absence, but as a realm of infinite potential. In this way, embracing emptiness allows us to appreciate the vast possibilities inherent in every space, waiting to be filled with new layers of meaning.
This photographic project is made up of metaphorical sequences that serve as conceptual explorations to depict various forms of emptiness, and the diverse ways in which they can be understood. Each piece consists of subtle performative gestures, aimed to imbue reality with vast new interpretations.
If we understand emptiness as an irrevocable fate, then any attempt to fill it is destined to work as a mere draft—a fleeting sketch that leads to something ephemeral and incomplete. In this way, emptiness inevitably returns to its natural state of possibility.
