The series is a response to the growing dominance of AI-generated imagery and advertising, which increasingly replaces human craft and the meaning behind visual art. Returning to a tactile process, each image through printing and layering.
This project was born from a growing fatigue with algorithmic imagery and AI-generated advertising that increasingly replaces human expression.
Everything we had was lost long ago in the pursuit of improving lite, not experiencing it. Lately, I've been sick of social media and Al-generated advertising. It's everywhere. I don't even want to think about the number of people who have lost their jobs and the meaning of their art because of this soulless thing. At such moments, you want to see resistance the most, but instead you hear: "you have to accept the fact that you have already been replaced or will be replaced in two years. The world does not stand still, but you do."
I returned to a style in which photography physically exists not only through instant photography and film, but through printing and the layering of several components.
Album covers, magazines, movie posters and billboards were the first to experience this method. That's how these images were born: first goes a b&w photo, then a separately created layer of skin color and other details...
