'Dichotomy of Home' highlights the relationship between home as mother Earth and the created domestic home. Both are facets of home, the place where one lives permanently.

Creating the relationship between home in nature and the domestic home, the overarching visual component comprises of a bedroom scene in a field. The bedroom, the sacred place created by an individual. What is the difference between the two places?

Homo sapiens have dissociated from their species as animal and thus created a separation from the natural world. The earth ground us, yet we feel so far from it. Touching on the topic of Anthropocene, the work relates to the dissociation from our animality but also the admiration for the natural world.
