Dear Absurd - is a conceptual photographic series about luxury as a system of control. It examines how expensive objects distort judgment, override common sense, and turn desire, status, and excess into submission.

Dear Absurd is a conceptual photographic series about luxury as a system of control. Rather than approaching luxury as aspiration or beauty, the project examines it as a force that distorts judgment, overrides common sense, and reshapes human behavior.

Built through staged images of excess, vulnerability, and estrangement, the series explores how expensive objects become fetishized and invested with symbolic authority. In these photographs, the object no longer serves the person; instead, the person begins to serve the object. The body, space, and everyday logic are pushed aside in favor of status, image, and desire.

The project reflects on the social and psychological violence embedded in consumer culture. It considers how aspiration can turn into submission, and how luxury, far from representing fulfillment, can produce emptiness, dependency, and alienation. Dear Absurd is not about fashion, but about the power of objects to reorganize perception, behavior, and value.
