This photobook was made in honor of the families of those killed by Covid-19, and the arduous and risky work of the doctors and nurses who perform daily in Loja, and throughout the country.

The pandemic has exterminated a large number of people, which is why the following photographs were taken in a high-danger area of the hospital. Many people were in their last moments of life.

Two people move to the area of "Respiratory symptomatic triage". Since 80% of the contacts with Covid-19 are asymptomatic carriers or patients with mild symptoms, a place has been designated in the hospital so that patients can be treated with isolation, symptomatic management and surveillance by the health service when time of admission.
