Conversations with Myself

This series of self portraits expresses my inward and outward observations on the state of women as wives, mothers, and working women, the weight of responsibilities women continue to carry as primary caregivers, in the family, and the progress or lack of it in our predominately patriarchal society. This is work that stimulates conversation about the self, will, tenacity, courage and resilience, and the opposing forces of struggles and resolutions, confusion and clarity, defeat and possibility, both past and present.
