A coming-of-age series navigating a brain tumour diagnosis and ongoing hormonal therapy. Eden's journey through land and water seeks solace within places that have shaped her, questioning 'home', identity and truth. A ritual of hope.

Eden uses her camera and the materiality of photography to build new ways of understanding her body and her relationship with her surroundings. She seeks to explore and replicate the intimate, womb-like spaces of her internal self, by working in a sensitive and intuitive way, and responding to otherworldly interactions and experiences within nature.

Eden’s experience is multi-faceted, and continuously altered by mental health challenges, behavioural changes, compulsions, and memory issues. Eden considers boundaries and transactions between interior and exterior space, threading the natural landscapes around her, with the fictional worlds she escapes to, and the interiors of hospitals and her family home. Eden encourages new connections between self and place, uncovering dualities between herself and her younger sister, land and sea, Cornwall and home, and freshwater and seawater.
