(Bit)Map as a Metaphor for the Image
Where does an image have its limits? Is it in the frame defined by our apparatus or at the maximum possible distance from the object of observation? Or perhaps in the quality of the resulting image or the number of its various interpretations? Where and when does the movement of our eye end, and what limits it?
The project explores the limits of the field of attractiveness of the presented image. Visible, or in some instances hidden, fields that define the theoretical boundaries of the image force us to consider when or within what range a section/frame presents a satisfactory finished image. At the same time, none of them ends with the vertical and horizontal physical boundaries of the photograph.
