Blue is blue while azzurro is light blue.
The idea for this project was born out of a wish to be experiment with the colour blue.
I was in Italy last summer and the nuances of blues everywhere called my attention.
Having the colour as a subject matter I started to explore how the light and reflections changed the tones of the blue of the water or the different objects on the beach.
The images were then manipulated to redirect some of the content to a more abstract and simple concept.
