Assembly of Very Many Persons

A project that captures the hazy scenes of dancers and strobing lights during the late hours of the rave as well as joyful portraits of rave goers on the grounds during the day.

In this assembly, the music at the basketball court summons all. Rumbling sounds vibrate the lake. The first to enter sets the tone: anyone to the right of the speaker versus anyone to the left of the speaker. Some face the DJ, and some watch the crowd. Glowing lights mark the space between the visible and the hidden. These portraits were taken to highlight all that trust the DJs and the spaces they occupy in for the love of music.
