A series of urban photographs by B a r b a r a Schneider
ARTificial Nature or URBANISM
The photographs question the impact of humans on urban environments, both literally and figuratively.
They creatively document the state of our planet and modern lifestyles, visualize the beauty of nature, explore misplaced objects by giving them new meaning, and emphasize the necessity for action.
Moments were captured with a smartphone.
There is an ongoing and urgent necessity to cultivate nature and our urban areas. This long‑term project, which will continue, began partly during the pandemic while making “daily social, creative, and healthy distance walks”.
Medium: Digital Photography / Mobile Photography (Asus Zenfone); a few photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix A100.
