A project about the importance and necessity of taking time for yourself in order to hear your own voice. I wanted to romanticize the desire to spend time alone with oneself and to savor the routine that is usually taken for granted.

This is a project about the importance and necessity of taking time for yourself in order to hear your own voice.

Every day we are surrounded by terabytes of videos and sounds that keep spinning in our heads at the only moment when we are truly alone — in the silence before sleep. Over time, our own voice is replaced by the voices from the phone screen, telling us how to dress, what to watch, and whom to love.

In this project, I wanted to romanticize the desire to spend time alone with oneself and to savor the routine that is usually taken for granted. Because routine is the only way to hear your own voice.
