Through this body of work I aim to reveal the intricate dance between human existence and the environment, emphasizing the abstract beauty that emerges when our interconnectedness with nature is contemplated from a distance.

My artistic pursuit revolves around capturing the profound transformation of seemingly mundane landscapes into captivating realms, when observed from the heavens. Leveraging Google Earth as a tool, I delve into the exploration of scale and perspective to convey our interconnectedness with nature. From this vantage point, the ordinary becomes abstract, and the landscape takes on a monolithic and extraordinary quality.

By showcasing the vastness of industrial and agricultural practices worldwide, the series seeks to underscore the diverse and dynamic ways in which humanity engages with the land, enriching the narrative with a global perspective on the symbiotic relationship between cultivation, geography, and human ingenuity.

Titled "17.7, -28.6, +6.2," the series derives its name from Earth's specific location in the Milky Way galaxy, represented by the approximate coordinates (17.7, -28.6, +6.2). Each image bears the corresponding galactic coordinates as its title, Inviting viewers to explore the profound beauty found within the terrestrial tapestry of our planet and how connected we are to each locagtion in space.

Zooming out from the Earth's surface, one can perceive the intricate patterns and formations created by human activities. From a celestial viewpoint, these human endeavors unfold like a complex tapestry, akin to the microscopic organisms forming shapes in a petri dish. Agricultural fields manifest as vibrant patches, resembling the intricate cellular structures of living organisms, while sprawling urban landscapes mirror the organic growth patterns observed under a microscope.

On a larger scale, industrial structures such as factories and infrastructure emerge as nodes, creating a network that mirrors the interconnected nature of biological systems. The web of roads, railways, and urban clusters mimics the neural pathways of living organisms, symbolizing humanity's influence in shaping the Earth's surface.

This zoomed-out perspective prompts contemplation on the parallel between human activities and the dynamic, evolving nature of living organisms. It highlights our role as architects of the Earth's surface, shaping landscapes that, from a distant lens, mirror the intricate beauty and complexity found in the microscopic world. Through this perspective, the interconnected dance between human intervention and the Earth's canvas becomes a visual testament to our impact on the planet, reminiscent of the intricate choreography observed in the natural world on a smaller scale.
