Present your work for €10,000 in cash prizes, €5,000 MPB voucher for the MPB Special Mentions, a solo show at PhMuseum Lab, screenings at Photo Vogue Festival and more.

The 10th edition of the PhMuseum Women Photographers Grant is now open for submissions, aimed at empowering the careers of female and non-binary professionals and supporting the growth of new generations, from all countries working in diverse areas of photography. The main prize recipients will share €10,000 in cash. In addition, MPB, Europe’s top camera reseller and partner of this edition, will further select two projects for their Special Mention, granting a €2,500 voucher each to spend on used photo and video gear on mpb.com.

Moreover, an artist will exhibit at PhMuseum Lab (Bologna, Italy) in June 2027, with production costs plus travel and stay included. Up to 40 shortlisted works will be screened at the 2027 PhotoVogue Festival in Milan, Italy, while the Vogue Italia photography department, led by Alessia Glaviano, will further select a work among all of the submissions for an online featured interview. Additionally, nine applicants will receive a free 30-minute online portfolio review with a mentor of their choice from the PhMuseum Education individual program.

To participate, you are invited to submit one or more projects. All approaches are welcome, from classic narratives to more experimental works. The submissions review is delegated to an independent jury comprising Elisa Medde (Editor, Curator and Writer), Mariela Sancari (Photographer), Yagazie Emezi (Artist & Photojournalist), and Myriam Boulos (Photographer).

For 10 years, the PhMuseum Women Photographers Grant has brought together photographers across generations, geographies, and traditions. In partnership with MPB, we created 10 Years Of Female And Non-Binary Vision, a free guide that features essays, conversations, practical advice, and historical reflections. Part celebration, part practical resource, you can download it to get inspiration, new perspectives, and insights from a decade of prize recipients and jurors.

The Regular deadline is 15 October, and there is a reduced Early Bird Deadline on September 24. Learn more and apply at phmuseum.com/w26. We look forward to receiving your works!
