Print Swap invites photographers worldwide to upload work for consideration in its inaugural exhibition at The Print Space, Shoreditch, London. 50 prints selected. Free to participate. Upload deadline: 1 May 2026.
Most photographers would rather live with someone else's work than their own. Print Swap was built around that observation. Two photographers independently decide each other's images are worth hanging. Both prints go into production with The Print Space and are delivered. No commerce, no algorithm, no feed.
The platform was founded by Sam Faulkner, a London-based photographer. The idea has its roots in a conversation with David Hurn at the World Press Masterclass in 2001, in which Hurn described spending his career exchanging prints with photographers he admired. Print Swap makes that possible for any photographer, anywhere — as straightforwardly between New York and Paris as across the same city.
Founding Prints is the inaugural Print Swap exhibition. 50 prints will be selected from images uploaded to the platform before 1 May 2026. Selected artists are notified by 3 May. If selected, the exhibition print is produced and displayed at no cost. The opening on 7 May is public and free to attend. Get Show Tickets
