People

Often believe

The image

In the mirror

Is who

They are

They look

At a shadow

Its outline

And believe

That is

The self

Yet

Sometimes

I wonder

Whether

What is seen

Is not

Who I am

But only

What I

Have projected

Where there

Is light

A shadow

Is born

Yet

A shadow

Can never

Speak

Of the light

People

Are no

Different

What can

Be seen

Can never

Tell

The whole

Truth

I believe

Projection

Is not

Something

That hides

It quietly

Reveals

What lies

Within

Do not

Be deceived

A shadow

Looks

Like me

But

It is

Not me
