A daily monochrome photo-poetry series by naozo. Since 2025, each work pairs a moment from everyday life with a poem from NZ, the artist's future self. Through glass, light, and silence, the series turns self-doubt into dialogue.

Day588【Crossroads】
DEAR naozo,
Where
Do paths
Divide
That is what
I would ask
People
Often search
For a single
Straight road
A path
Without doubt
Believing
The right answer
Will always
Lead them
Forward
Yet
Sometimes
I wonder
Whether
Life
Is not
One road
But
Countless
Crossings
Paths
Intersect
People
Pass by
Meet
And part
Each encounter
Quietly
Reshapes
The future
There are
Scenes
You would
Never have seen
Had your
Paths
Not crossed
People
Are no
Different
Destiny
Is not
A single
Predetermined
Road
It is born
From every
Choice
Every meeting
Every crossing
I believe
A crossroads
Is not
Where
You are lost
It is
Where
A new future
Begins
So
Do not
Be afraid
Life
Is not
A single road
It is made
Of countless
Crossings
What do you think
from NZ
This story is a work of fiction. Except for the named individuals, all elements are products of imagination. The boundary between reality and fiction is intentionally ambiguous, and its interpretation is left to the reader.
