A daily monochrome photo-poetry series by naozo. Since 2025, each work pairs a moment from everyday life with a poem from NZ, the artist's future self. Through glass, light, and silence, the series turns self-doubt into dialogue.

Day537【Blind Spot】
DEAR naozo,
The question is not
Can you see
The question is
Whether you see only
what you wish to see
People
Do not lose their way
Because of darkness
They lose their way
Because of certainty
Sometimes
I wonder
Whether the thing
we should doubt most
Is not another person's words
But our own sense
of being right
To focus
Is not to choose
It is to discard
The moment you choose
one thing
Countless possibilities
Disappear
Yet
People call that
Decision
Belief has blind spots
Love has blind spots
Justice has blind spots
That is why
I fear the certain
More than the uncertain
Those who doubt
Pause
But those who are certain
Keep moving
Even when they are wrong
That is what
makes them dangerous
Do not believe
That you see everything
Beyond the edge
of your view
May stand the thing
That will betray
your certainty
People
Are not wounded
By what they cannot see
They are wounded
By what they believed
they understood
So
From time to time
Look back
Doubt
Ask yourself
What remains unseen
What do you think

This story is a work of fiction. Except for the named individuals, all elements are products of imagination. The boundary between reality and fiction is intentionally ambiguous, and its interpretation is left to the reader.
