DEAR naozo,

Do you believe

in yourself

　

Do you hold

a quiet faith

within your chest

　

To believe

is not to wish

　

It is to accept

without proof

　

Unseen by others

unrecognized

　

and still

refuse to betray yourself

　

Doubt

does not vanish

　

Nor does trembling

cease

　

And yet

　

to stand

while holding doubt

　

that is faith

　

Those who believe

do not raise their voice

　

They do not need

constant confirmation

　

They simply

remain

　

Faith

is not directed outward

　

It is something

burned quietly

within

　

Prayer

is not a wish

　

It is a silent vow

not to betray oneself

　

Do you believe
