ZeroNegativo offers a space where nature and photography can converge in a living, nomadic dialogue. This year's edition of the festival will be held at Stabilimento De Laurentis in Santeramo in Colle, Southern Italy.
Overview
ZeroNegativo is a festival where nature and photography meet. It creates a space for exploration, experimentation, listening, and dialogue between uninhabited landscapes and designed environments, between different artistic practices, languages, and the unknown that emerges through movement.
Conceived as a nomadic festival, it weaves together traces of the past with fragments of the present. Nature lies at the heart of the program, shaping both the installations and the ways in which images are perceived and understood. Landscapes become an integral part of the curatorial approach. Each exhibition adapts to its surroundings, responding to the rhythms of the place, amplifying meaning and expanding perception.
ZeroNegativo engages with the present by valuing what already exists and embracing open, curious perspectives of those who travel out of curiosity as well as those driven by intent. It welcomes photographers and emerging artists seeking a context that recognizes their vision, as well as audiences willing to engage and participate. Within the festival, photography is approached as a free, open practice, without imposed themes or predetermined interpretations. Works are selected through a careful, detail-oriented curatorial process. At its core is a relational culture, a practice that fosters connection, strengthens bonds, and creates space for freedom. The public is invited to enter, immerse themselves, and reflect on the ideas at the heart of the project.
