Overview

Every year, The Art Chapter comes to BASE, bringing up a fresh wave of creativity. For three days, BASE becomes a hub for anyone who sees the book as a space for total expression: from independent publishing to artist books, experimental print to small self-produced gems.

Since 2017, BASE Milano and Studio Boîte have been curating a unique experience for those who see the book as a work of art. A place to exchange ideas, contacts, and inspiration; an open ecosystem where professionals and emerging talents meet and make connections.

The Art Chapter is not just a fair but a living laboratory, where publishing becomes a platform for research. Illustration, design, and typography merge in an open space and create new identities. No conventions, just ideas looking for room to grow.
