SUR FOTOLIBROS is an international four-day gathering in Buenos Aires, Argentina, that unites the global photobook community through an extensive program of exhibitions, workshops, and talks dedicated to creative experimentation and professional exchange.

SUR FOTOLIBROS will be an international photobook gathering in Buenos Aires, bringing together photographers, publishers, curators, and independent projects from around the world to celebrate and reflect on the photobook as a space for creation, experimentation, and visual thought. The event is produced by the Fundación Alfonso y Luz Castillo - ArtexArte, with the support of FOLA and in collaboration with Laura Carbonell (Punto de Fuga Bogotá).

Over the course of four days, the event will offer a comprehensive program including publisher showcases and book presentations, talks, workshops, screenings, exhibitions ,and panel discussions featuring local and international experts.

The encounter seeks to foster exchange between emerging and established authors, promote new editorial perspectives, and strengthen the bonds between the various players within the photobook ecosystem.

The lineup will feature national and international publishing houses, renowned photographers, and experimental projects working at the intersection of photography, contemporary art, and independent publishing.
