Dedicated entirely to contemporary analogue photography, Revela’t brings exhibitions, artists, and photographic communities together in Vilassar de Dalt, near Barcelona.

Overview

Revela’t is a festival dedicated to contemporary analogue photography, bringing together established and emerging artists through exhibitions, workshops, talks, photobook presentations, portfolio reviews, and a photography market. This year’s edition, Ways to Escape, considers escape not necessarily as going somewhere else, but as slowing down, stepping outside everyday routines, and allowing space for different ways of seeing. More than twenty exhibitions approach the theme from different perspectives, looking at those moments when distance, imagination, or simply stopping can shift our perception of the world around us. The theme also connects closely to analogue photography itself: a process that requires time, attention, waiting, and the development of images that cannot immediately be seen.
