Artist Talks & Finissage: Poor Traits: Beyond the Image

With just two weeks remaining of Poor Traits: Beyond the Image, there is still time to experience this dynamic group exhibition in person at BBA Gallery before it closes on October 24.

Join us on Wednesday, October 14 at 18:30 for our featured Artist Talks, bringing together three participating artists to examine how concepts of human identity, mask, and selfhood evolve across distinct creative mediums:

• Christian A. Lang (Photography)

• Theresa Reiwer (Video Art)

• Vishal Shah (Conceptual Art)

Playing on the homophonic duality of "portraits," Poor Traits moves past traditional likeness to explore human imperfections, vulnerabilities, and psychological complexities in a hyper-curated digital age. This intimate discussion provides a rare opportunity to hear directly from the creators about how identity is constructed, concealed, and revealed in contemporary art.
