Photo Days 2025

For one month, museums, cultural institutions, galleries, foundations, fairs, and festivals take part in Photo Days to help enthusiasts and the curious discover the full extent of global photographic production.

Overview

Now in its sixth edition, the event unites a vast network of cultural partners—including museums, institutions, galleries, and foundations—to showcase the full spectrum of global photography. A key feature of Photo Days is its "carte blanche" program, which invites contemporary artists to create and exhibit work, often taking over unusual or atypical venues. This "parcours" or route-based model encourages both enthusiasts and the public to explore the city, discovering new artists and locations on both banks of the Seine.

Photo Days highlights several artists in its "carte blanche" and special exhibition programs. For the 2025 edition, the main featured artists also include, Juliette Agnel, Julie Balagué, Yan Carpenter, Sandra Guldemann Duchatellier, Antoine Schneck, Paolo Ventura. Beyond these central figures, the festival also showcases a wide array of other photographers, such as Manuel Álvarez Bravo and Edouard Élias, through its extensive network of partner galleries and institutions.
