BBA Gallery is pleased to present State of Play, a solo exhibition by Bangkok-based abstract artist Thanaghone Wattanasiritham, professionally known as Ghone (b. 2022). Marking his first solo show in Germany, State of Play introduces a remarkably instinctual voice to Berlin’s contemporary art scene.

Free from formal academic constraints, Ghone approaches the canvas with pure intuition bypassing traditional toolkits in favor of everyday objects like toys, sponges, and organic materials. By rolling, stamping, and tilting the canvas, he constructs rich, textured compositions driven by immediate emotion, music, and raw curiosity. State of Play invites viewers to reflect on a fundamental question: What can we, as adults, relearn from the uninhibited world-building of childhood?
