Cronache D'Acqua - Images From Southern Italy at Gallerie d'Italia Torino

The photographic project Cronache D'Acqua - Images From Southern Italy, commissioned by the Gallerie d’Italia of Intesa Sanpaolo originates as an evolution of the previous work dedicated to Northern Italy (2023).

Overview

This new edition envisages the participation of five photographers (Cosimo Calabrese, Valeria Cherchi, Eleonora D’Angelo, Giulia Parlato and Roselena Ramistella), each one with a vision and a distinctive approach to the visual narration, with the aim of telling ten stories linked to the water cycle, to the procurement of water and its scarcity in the area considered.

Continuing on from the previous edition, the photographic project will explore the theme, drawing attention to its impact on people and on the activities and territories in Southern Italy. Once again this year, the project is carried out in collaboration with Green & Blue, a publication of the Gedi publishing group, which aims to create long-term memory and turn these stories into manifestos.

The photographic project will be projected in the immersive room until 12 January 2025.
