The involution of history (Series Lima II)

The involution of history...

The Historic Center of Lima was declared World Heritage in 1988. Despite this condition many of the buildings inside and near the Historical Center are used for commercial purposes like restaurants, shops, discos, etc. In recent years many of these sites have been closed down due to many causes such as not having a functioning license, being a danger due to poor infrastructure or selling endangered animals.

This series seeks to generate a critical look at the evolution (or involution) of society by encouraging the question of whether the progress of man is justified at the expense of the heritage legacy.

The fact of necessarily putting a wall that prevents the entrance to the building shows that as a society is not respected the laws that establish limits and since repeated times these measures do not stop the people to continue in spite of being at fault or having committed one.
