URBAN Photo Awards

URBAN Photo Awards is one of the most prestigious international photography competition in Italy, dedicated to celebrating urban photography as a form of art.

URBAN Photo Awards focuses on urban photography as a form of expression that explores the contemporary in all its complexities and nuances.

The contestants can compete in the following categories, with a total prize value of € 25,000:

URBAN Photo Arena (free call for young talents under 35)

URBAN Photo Awards welcomes world-famous photographers as judges and special guests every year. This year’s jury features internationally renowned Magnum photographer Harry Gruyaert as jury president, alongside Adam Pretty, Massimo Siragusa, Michael Kirchoff, Rathika Ramasamy, Olivier Valsecchi, Joerg Nicht and many more.

The contest culminates at Trieste Photo Days, one of Europe’s most important international photography festivals, set in the vibrant coastal city of Trieste, in the heart of Europe (25-27 October 2024).
