The PhMuseum Photography Grant, now in its 12th edition, aims to support the importance of photography and visual storytelling.
Overview
The PhMuseum Photography Grant is an annual initiative designed to support the production and promotion of visual projects through cash prizes, exhibitions at international festivals, educational activities and exposure on online media.
Practical Info
To participate, you are invited to submit one or more projects centred around a specific theme or narrative. All approaches are welcome from traditional documentary photography to experimental ways of telling a story or sharing a concept, and you can present more than one work. Each project should have between 5 and 20 photos.
Prizes include €10,000 in cash plus a solo show at PhEST (Monopoli, Italy), an at Getxophoto (Getxo, Spain) and one solo show at PhMuseum Lab (Bologna, Italy), in addition to six portfolio reviews.

Over more than a decade, we have supported more than 100 photographers with €240,000 in cash prizes and another 300 with exhibition, residency and screening opportunities at festivals such as PhEST, Getxophoto, Organ Vida, Cortona OTM, Lagos Photo, Verzasca Foto, JIPFest and our own PhMuseum Days.
