FUTURES 2025 Nordic Talents

Copenhagen Photo Festival is part of FUTURES Photography Platform and every year CPF invites new talents to become part of the festival.

Overview

Copenhagen Photo Festival’s call for FUTURES Photography Talents open in the fall of each year and gives young talented photographers and lens based artist in the Nordic countries a chance to progress in their career, network and meet experts within their field from all over Europe.

Practical Info

Applicants must reside in the Nordic Region (unfortunately, does not apply for Norwegian artists, since Fotogalleriet in Norway are also part of FUTURES and recruit Norwegian artists) for at least the past 12 months and be below 40 (born in 1985 or later). They have to be either educated within the field of photography/art or your CV presents a continual professional experience within the last 3 years (since 2022), e.g. participation in an exhibition or publication. Applications should include 10-20 images that illustrate the project concept, along with a project description, biography and CV.

The Programme Committee includes Søren Pagter, Patricia Breinholm Bertram, Stinus Duch and Maja Dyrehauge Gregersen.

Copenhagen Photo Festival is the nordic regions largest photo festival of its kind. Its solo exhibitions aims to expand the boundaries of exhibiting photography and focus on sustainable development, not least in relation to the specific place the festival is situated, but also with regards to the materiality of displaying photography, as well as presenting new perspectives and emerging talents.
