AAP Magazine - Shapes Photo Contest

The 34th printed issue of AAP Magazine will feature the best projects showcasing the theme Shapes.

Overview

All About Photo Magazine invites photographers from all around the world to share their work in their printed edition. Each issue is central to a specific theme and provides a gallery of inspiring imagery, focusing on each artist with their own experience to share. With an eye towards beauty, quality and novelty, they strive to promote portfolios which stand out for their unique visual signature style and character. Their goal is to help photographers get the exposure they deserve and to inspire others with ideas, projects and goals to help develop their own photography.

Practical Info

Photographers are invited to send up to 40 images where shapes may not just influence the image, but where it may also be the subject solely. The contest is open to all genres and photographers from all over the world can participate by sending a cohesive body of work or portfolio. Images that were previously published in AAP Magazine cannot be submitted again.

Applications will be assessed on three criteria: creativity, originality, and the visual/emotional impact of the image. The winners will be announced on All About Photo, their newsletter and social media.

1st place winner will receive a cash Prize of $500 (US Dollars) and will have an exclusive interview published in AAP Magazine, Volume 34: Shapes; 2nd place winner will receive a cash Prize of $300 (US Dollars); and 3rd place winner will receive a cash Prize of $200 (US Dollars)

All winners will have their image(s) or portfolio published in AAP Magazine, Volume 34: Shapes. They will also receive a free copy of AAP Magazine that will be for sale and distributed on Blurb.com. Winning works will also be showcased on the online Winners Gallery of All About Photo.

17 finalists will also have their best image(s) or portfolio published in AAP Magazine Vol.34.
