The following images are a part of my ongoing family project, "New Paris." Three years ago, while mourning the recent loss of her mother, my mother's marriage failed unexpectedly once she discovered my father’s secret affair with his boss. In the throes of her woe, she uprooted herself from Southern California and returned to her hometown in rural Ohio to care for her depressed and aging father. United in heartbreak, they've helped one another rediscover purpose and resilience through family and faith.
