Adolescence is by nature the age of risk. What is the meaning of a society where nowadays the possibility of taking risk is censored and dissent towards the adult world and the ruling class are not a richness to be represented but a danger that must be censored or a stigma to be ridiculed? We are living in a phase that is considered a "rebirth" but unfortunately reality is often made up of old and new issues: early school leaving, teenage anxiety, even more marked by war and climate crisis, as well as little trust in the future, high unemployment rates and underpaid jobs. In a Sardinian province considered until a few years the poorest in Italy and in a post-mining, post- industrial and post-pandemic era, in Carbonia, as if it were a plastic representation of a globalized world, the sense of precariousness is always present: the streets in the city center with closed shops, the remains of industrial archeology surrounding the city, represent a world that was there and paradoxically maybe still metaphorically exists today even more. If even society takes on aspects of this world and adolescents are left to themselves, who or what will allow them to realize themselves?
