I visited the Banksy Exhibition at the Moco Museum in Amsterdam in October 2019. An enthusiastic of his work, when I saw the "emblematic" image of the girl with the balloon, I immediately remembered a photograph I made of a balloon lost on the steps of Montmartre, Paris, days before.

Shortly after, it was the image of the man with the flowers that caught my attention, this time reminding me of a photograph I took in Havana, Cuba, in 2018.

Since then, I have been associating the works of renowned artists with photographs from my collection.

The collages suggest a dynamic and dialogue of the images, a continuation of the painted scene, an identity that honors and approaches a reality that may have inspired its author, or who knows what sequence was left to happen.
