Botanical gardens are very impressive and always worth a visit. But have you ever taken a closer look at the greenhouses from the outside?

I enjoy visiting botanical gardens on my travels. A few years ago, I noticed that the plants in a greenhouse in Glasgow formed their own paintings.

Since then, I‘ve been specifically looking for these small details. The small paintings formed by little leafs, glass, water, light and mist. They appear beautiful and strangely trapped.

Over time, I noticed that trapped plants can also be found in our everyday lives, living behind glass in their own biotope. This is how the series 'trapped’ came about.
