Three-view

Through three observation perspectives of the same building, we pay attention to the impact of resources on human life and question the way of human survival and development.

Human beings live in a multi-dimensional universe. Our eyes can neither see a complete two-dimensional sphere, nor any three-dimensional objects at one time. In engineer filed, Three Views （front view, top view and left view）is the langrage we use to describe the object’s geometry shape.

Humans build villages, towns, cities. Humans build mines and factories. These facilities protect people, consume resources and then produce goods that humans eat, use and wear. By using modern technology, we now can see the three views of these facilities. However, we humans also increasingly invade into nature world and our living space also increasingly artificialized. This means that we have to experience these artificialized facilities.

Are these facilities really what we see? Perhaps just what we can see? Or maybe just what we are allowed to see rather than the true world. Just like we can only see lower dimensional objects. May be the so called truth is only a shadow of a higher dimensional truth that projected in a lower dimensional world?

Humans live in an imperfect world. And there is no perfect answer. According to scientists, if not less, we may have comprehended 5% of the whole universe. Will humans’ scientific system continually rebuild in rounds of shaking debris flow?
