The Distance of Dreams

And we, as humans, are like vessels navigating the realms of dreams and reality, drifting across different spaces and times, always keeping a delicate, measured distance.

I am a light sleeper, often immersed in dreams, always sensing a tender, oscillating distance between reality and the dream world.

Experiences from reality subtly weave through the subconscious, gradually transforming into threads of the dream, intricate and layered; while fragments of dreams mold themselves into the fabric of waking memories, sometimes ascending into sparks of creative inspiration. When these memories are made tangible, when dreamscapes are resurrected and cast into images, they are drawn into becoming part of what we call “reality.”

Flowers, insects, and the human form are elements I often encounter in everyday life, yet in dreams, they refract into new shapes—at times grand and jagged, at others, soft and unending. They reveal themselves in ways that surpass the limits of my imagination, unfolding myriad possibilities.

And we, as humans, are like vessels navigating the realms of dreams and reality, drifting across different spaces and times, always keeping a delicate, measured distance.
