Take care of your memories

He arrives and takes his memory, his story, his life…. but our love he cannot accept. It's about who we are, what we have that is so valuable and over time we lose ourselves, forgetting... nothing is safe, not even memory.

Death suits her, I sometimes think about it, but a selfish part of me still wants her here with what's inside, what's left of time, what wasn't taken from me by interruption as usually happens when it comes. Looks like it came to an end even before she left. So for me, she even won that battle. Projected memories that Alzheimer's took from my grandmother Nelly, but that are reborn in me every day.

I know it's devastating to live, but I need to be connected.
