Mostly people watching via 35mm film.

There’s a certain fragility to life. One caught in between old people playing tourist and siblings playing “Duck, Duck, Goose.” Film is a great way to capture that because the limited frames highlight the fact you only have so many shots to get a moment right. These are my favorite, most candid scenes. I’m partial to street photography - the kind of photo that takes a picture of a person taking a picture. It reminds me I’m not the only one taking it all in. And as the stillness settles and the light leaks through, memories solidify in present time. Everything’s happening all at once and yet these remain completely still. A circle, running on the great track of life that will hopefully allow me to be old and on a ferry boat until one day I die, and when I’m buried in the ground I hope some kid walks around with a camera and takes time to notice the way the sun hits my grave.
