Postpandemic scenes of bathers at San Juan beach, Mediterranean sea, Alicante, Spain

Every year my family and i spend the summer vacations at the San Juan’s Beach, in Alicante Spain.

Because of the pandemic we couldn’t go for two years in a row.

This last summer we returned and a bunch of incredible images opened up to my eyes that i havent realized were there every year and that i took them for granted.

So i dedicated my vacation to fotograph the amazing moments of joy and happiness of the bathers, i tried to capture the reencounter with freedom, nature and human contact after almost two years of uncertanty and fear.

It gave me the sense of being born again.
