Through the ethereal fusion between human form and jellyfish, I visualize the intimate connection

between humanity and aquatic genesis.

Jellyfish have existed for over 500 million years, witnessing the first awakenings of complex life.

They are almost pure water, just like us. They pulse rhythmically, like our hearts, like our

brainwaves.

The translucent bodies floating in the deep blue evoke the first awakenings of consciousness in the

ancestral seas.

Life began in water 3.8 billion years ago.

We spend the first nine months submerged in amniotic fluid.

Our chemical composition reflects that of the primordial oceans.

We are not visitors to the water—we are aquatic beings temporarily on land.
