like an uncomfortable idea that creeps through you on a Tuesday afternoon without permission, making you question whether you're here for yourself or for others.

The others

those who cannot escape their own nostalgia. They keep us immobile in someone's imagination, calling us like a prayer and condemning us like God to an obstinately silent permanence.

If you forget me, I will be free.

Olvídame (2023) A photographic project aimed at initiating a conversation about mental health, pain, and the things we hide to avoid hurting those we love. Through portraiture, I aim to create characters and fantasies that do not belong to a concrete reality, solitary yet alive beings with a strange faith ahead. The intervention of bodies and the toys from my childhood are a constant presence meant to tell the story of how I got here.

Olvídame is a confession of my own flesh and its childhood. It is a declaration of hope and a protest against what we wanted to silence. It is a suicide note that we will never send.
