Mônada

This series explores the intimate family experience, intensified in the quarantine period in isolation. The contact with nature that enters the internal environment and makes a parallel with nature in the unattainable external world.

In March, due to the situation of the Covid 19 virus pandemic, my family and I moved from São Paulo, a large metropolis, to a small beach on the coast. Without contact with other people, family contact 24 hours a day, in a new routine, contact with the surrounding nature and the remnants of nature that enter the internal environment. The fears, concerns, uncertainties, mental and physical tiredness experienced at that moment, but also the reconnection and affection of the family are shown in this work.
