At the Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, the principle Sikh place of worship in Dublin. At the end of worship, "Karha Prashad" is handed around to all worshippers to eat. It is made from a blend of flour, butter and sugar. The Karha Prashad is considered blessed by the Guru, and should not be refused. It is accepted while kneeling and with cupped hands. The offering and receiving of this food is a vital part of hospitality protocols in Sikh faith. Ballsbridge September, 2011
