During the 2020 COVID outbreak, The United Arab Emirates imposed a mandatory curfew that started at 8pm and ended at 6am the next morning. I had nowhere to go, I made use of the time.
During the 2020 COVID outbreak, The United Arab Emirates imposed a mandatory curfew that started at 8pm and ended at 6am the next morning. I had nowhere to go, I made use of the time.
I spent a few hours inhabiting the parking lot in my basement, taking photographs of myself frolicking around, having just moved back to the UAE after living in the states for a chunk of time.
As I frolicked around the parking lot, I would catch glimpses of the sanitization trucks rolling through our area. The atmosphere was thick with freshly spritzed detol melange and the sky was quiet as nothing flew above us but birds.
I let an egg mask bake in my hair as April turned into May. It must have only been 8:00pm
