In an election year when immigration is one of the top concerns of the American people, multimedia storyteller Sebastian Sele has been following asylum seekers he has met outside one of New York City's largest shelters since September 2023.
"Kings Without Land" was published and distributed as an immersive multimedia website: (www.kingswithoutland.com). It was developed and exhibited at the International Center of Photography, published in the New York Times and one of the five finalists for "Best Digital News Story" at the French Festival Visa Pour l'Image.
