A photographic series on racial mixing. These are digital photos taken in a studio, using small-scale sets. A white stone moves above them, suspended over dark surfaces. What seems separate is already intertwined. There is no synthesis here—only fragment
A photographic series on racial mixing, inspired by the song "Um Índio" (An Indian), composed by the Brazilian Caetano Veloso.
In this series, miscegenation is not imagined as fusion, but as differences that remain, touching each other without dissolving.
A white stone hovers above a dark surface, appearing distant, wanting to resist all transformation, but everything is already inevitably connected.
The work unfolds like a field of tensions; what seems separate has always been intertwined.
