Fridays Rainshadow.

An ongoing series looking at the Mojave Desert.

I started this ongoing project back in January 2019, making a trip out to the Mojave every Friday. Using a 3-1 format panoramic camera allowed me to view the landscape at a perspective closest to the human eye.

Time moves slowly in the Rain Shadow, a place seemingly unaffected by pandemics and drought. Fires are consumed back to nature and decay of the man-made seems frozen in time.

This harsh arid environment brings with it a simple beauty like no other.
