The Xijiang River is the third largest river in China and the most important river in the Guangdong and Guangxi regions.

She was domesticated like a relative and was revered as the "Dragon Mother" by later generations. When the Five Dragons grow up, they timely rain to spread blessings for the people. For two thousand years, residents of the Xijiang River Basin in Guangdong and Guangxi have grown up listening to the story of the dragon mother, and the dragon has had a profound impact on the lives of the local people.
The dragon mother temples in coastal cities showcase the local residents' worship of dragons and dragon mothers.
